Dance Around is committed to promoting the enjoyment of dance while enhancing education and appreciation for the dance world. For us, dance classes are about more than just learning steps
they are about the entire experience of fostering life long memories and friendships, developing life skills, and empowering happy, healthy, confident and successful individuals in a safe and accepting environment. That's why we're "Measuring Success In Smiles".

Philosophy: Dance Around truly believes that dance classes teach more than dance steps. Dance classes are places where happy, healthy, confident, and successful people are empowered. Dance builds confidence, leadership, focus, commitment, creative thinking, quick thinking, and problem solving skills, just to name a few. These skills help mold students into a well-rounded and successful individual.

Dance Around knows that fewer than 1% of the people who begin dance in their lifetime will continue dance in a professional setting, yet dance touches the lives of >99% of those who have experienced it. Dance Around is not committed to promoting the 1%, but rather in inspiring, empowering and nurturing the >99%.

It doesn’t matter if a person is big or small, has a disability, is old or young, or is completely average. Dance Around promotes a loving, nurturing and supportive environment for all students. It isn’t about their current abilities, but rather their desire and heart.

There are four pillars of Dance Around: Confidence, Experience, Passion and Heart.
These pillars are to be instilled among every student. Every student should be made to smile at least once in every class and should leave the classroom having felt these 4 pillars.

Confidence: The confidence to know the students can do anything they put their mind to

Experience: An experience the students will remember and treasure throughout their lifetime.

Passion: The feeling of knowing the passions of
the students is nurtured, supported and admired at all times

Heart: The ability to demonstrate heart in everything the students do.
