Animal Health Hospital has provided affordable, high quality veterinary care to Boise, Idaho for many
years. Founder, Dr. Ellen German, received her Bachelor's degree from Cornell University and
graduated from Tuft's Veterinary School i'n 1992. Before opening Animal Health Hospital in 2003, Dr.
German worked at various animal clinics providing quality animal care. In her spare time, she cares
for the pets of homeless citizens and participates in Friendly Fixers, the weekly, low-cost cat spay
and neuter clinic at Pet Haven in Nampa, Idaho. The wonderful staff at Animal Health Hospital,
assist in Friendly-Fixers 'events· helping to keep stray-cats off the streets to their forever homes.

I have used AHH for many years,I was completely satisfied until now. I was quoted over the phone a price for my dog being spayed and set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment she unfortunately was in heat and could only be given a rabies shot. So we went over the quote again, it was $327.20 including meds and everything else we talked about. I set up another appointment and paid the full amount in advance. I took her in today they texted it would be 670.00. I explained what I was quoted,unfortunately I didn't get it in writing so too bad for me. They are the most incompetent group,there was no one there who could change pricing, absolutely no solution or apology. I went and got her and even had to pay for the pre-med they gave her for a surgery they didn't do. My suggestion is to go across the street to the humane society, they quoted 375.00. I will never use AHH again.
