Redwood Llamas has been raising & packing with llamas since 1984 and has been a commercial outfitter for the last 25 seasons. They offer a variety of ways for you to enjoy the back country:

Redwood Llamas, located in the historic mining town of Silverton, Colorado, operates in the beautiful San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado under a permit of the San Juan National Forest. Our season runs from June through September. July and August are springtime in the Rockies, blanketed with wildflowers of vibrant colors. September brings on fall when the Aspens turn a vivid gold color, a short but incredible season.

For those with experience, llamas can be leased to enhance your enjoyment of the mountains. They do the heavy-lifting while you experience the wonders of the exquisite range.
