This company convinced a divorced woman her home needed $60,000 worth of work for seven (only 7) windows, all standard sizes. She paid $30,000 deposit. After six months she got sick and was in the hospital. While she was in the hospital and terminal (six weeks to live) they decided to do some work on her house. She declined because of her health and Hospice care. Their lawyer sent a letter demanding specific performance. I reviewed the contract and determined she could terminate with a 25% penalty (getting most of her 50% deposit back). They said they would go to court. She died and the estate failed to file a claim since the main witness had died. Not a good company to deal with, and definitely not very Christian in operating philosophy.
