COASTAL WOMEN'S SHELTER is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive domestic violence services to women in need. Our services are designed to support and empower survivors of abuse, offering a safe and welcoming environment where they can start the healing process.

At COASTAL WOMEN'S SHELTER, we understand the urgent and sensitive nature of domestic violence situations. That is why we offer a Safe House where survivors can find refuge from their abusive environments. Our Safe House provides secure shelter, ensuring the safety and well-being of those seeking protection.

Crisis counseling is another essential service we offer. Our trained counselors are available to provide immediate support to survivors, helping them cope with the emotional and psychological impact of the abuse they have experienced. We also offer Court and Personal Advocacy, guiding survivors through the legal process and accompanying them during court hearings and proceedings.

Support is critical when recovering from the trauma of domestic violence, which is why we facilitate DV Support Groups. These groups offer survivors an opportunity to connect and share their experiences with others who have gone through similar situations. Additionally, we provide life skills and career counseling to help survivors regain their independence and rebuild their lives.

Understanding the importance of a holistic approach, COASTAL WOMEN'S SHELTER also offers referrals to other community resources that survivors may need, such as medical assistance, therapy, and housing support. Our team also assists in safety planning, helping survivors create strategies to protect themselves and their children from further harm.

To ensure comprehensive care, we provide case management services. Our dedicated case managers work closely with survivors to develop personalized plans, addressing their unique needs and goals. This collaborative approach ensures that survivors receive the necessary support and resources to heal and move towards a safer future.
