Joseph Financial Partners was founded in 1994 by Sharon Joseph with the goal of assisting our clients in every aspect of their financial lives. After previously working 10 years in the financial industry for others, she joined LPL Financial to become her own independent financial advisor and principal of the firm.
In 2002, her husband, Jim McAfee joined the firm as a Registered Representative after 30 years in the medical field to make Joseph Financial Partners a truly local Mom & Pop shop for investing.
In 2009, Sharon's son, Jody Donovan, moved home and joined the firm after 5 years with Wells Fargo Investments in Houston as a Financial Advisor. Now we are a family firm of 3 financial professionals that live, volunteer and work in Fredericksburg. We also have clients all over the U.S. that have moved away and chose to keep us as their advisor forever.
In 2017, we added Krystal Geistweidt to the team who is now an LPL Registered Assistant with securities and insurance licenses to assist our clients in all trades.
Our Team was topped off in 2018 when we added Jenny Jones as our Administrative Assistant to additionally assist our team and clients.
We've always provided straight forward, personal services. This has earned us a reputation for excellence in our industry and our clients trust and respect based on continued referrals.
Education is an important part of our practice. We volunteer as educators for Community Education Classes and hold various educational offerings for our clients and their guests throughout the year.
