My favorite pastime as a child was building cardboard houses. But back then it was just a game, a way to entertain myself on the Kansas farm where I grew up. I didn’t know it could be an option. I didn’t know it was a job. I didn’t know people got paid to have that much fun.

I’ve always been motivated by art. As a little girl, I would draw and paint. People knew it was my passion and my special skill set. One day I was asked to faux paint someone’s home, and now, as they say, the rest is history. From one thing to another, I built up momentum until a focus on walls grew into a full-service home design business.

Now, every day, I am privileged to be able to fulfill my childhood dream. Through home design, I am able to combine my two passions for creativity and serving people. I love to make people happy and help bring their dreams to life, just like mine. And it is a pleasure when, through that process, clients have become friends.
