OUR HISTORY
On January 20, 2003, 18 people gathered to explore the possibility of forming a new church in Ouray County. A steering Committee developed a church name and mission statement which reflected our diversity and background as believers. Retired Presbyterian minister Dr. Richard Engdahl offered his services and became our first part time Pastor.
Within 5 weeks we were holding services in our temporary church home at the Ridgway Town Hall. We began to grow, found support in the community and enjoyed many folks attending our Sunday Services.
We are an ecumenical group that continues to expand. In August 2009, we dedicated our new church home, located on the corner of Charles and Lena Street in scenic Ridgway, Colorado.
In late 2011 we received our new Pastor, Harry Strong who serves and leads us.
We’ve been continually challenged to seek an even deeper relationship in our Walk, and we’ve continued to find joy in serving God and caring for one another.
