Mountain Home is where you can find the Norfork National Fish Hatchery that is operated by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Visitors to this free attraction can take guided tours and view different types of trout. Children and people with disabilities can also try fishing in the area creek.
Wine lovers can take a detour to Cowie Wine Cellars & Vineyards in Paris, Arkansas. Free wine tasting is available, and visitors can also observe the winemakers at work. There is also the “Gallery of Barrels,” paintings done on wine barrel heads.
